John Adler

For several years prior to estate litigation John started his career in law as a prosecutor handling the trial of criminal cases as a Deputy District Attorney in Riverside County. He then  became an associate in an established probate practice and turned toward the development of an expertise in estates, handling disputes such as will contests and trust contests.

Those experiences made John aware that there was an unmet need that a small practice attorney could fill. At that time all of the estate litigation was handled by large law firms who only took cases on an hourly fee basis which placed the services beyond the reach of most people who needed the service to recover their property. The trial of a case is at best unpredictable and the client in those days had no idea when hourly billing would end or cost. We do have financial flexibility for that reason. We are able to fashion a method of payment that can altogether eliminate the client’s burden of paying hourly bills for attorney compensation or reduce the cost to the client if hourly billing is the client’s decision.

John has represented clients in the Probate Courts in Southern California and in the California Courts of Appeal, and before the California State Supreme Court.

John was admitted to practice before the California Bar in 1969. He holds a BA from the University of California at Davis, and a JD from the Pepperdine College of Law. He is a member of the California Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
